Nebraska tax receipts up slightly in November

Report: Nebraska tax receipts in November nearly 1 percent higher than state projections

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -- The Nebraska Department of Revenue is reporting $315 million in November net tax receipts, nearly 1 percent higher than state officials had projected.

The state's economic forecasting board had previously projected that Nebraska would collect a net of $312 million last month. The department said in a news release Monday that individual income tax receipts were down, while corporate, miscellaneous, and sales-and-use net receipts were all higher than expected.

The comparisons are based on the February forecast made by the Nebraska Economic Forecasting Advisory Board.
