News Corp. just announced that The Daily, its iPad-only news app that launched last year, will cease publication on Dec. 15. “Our experience was that we could not find a large enough audience quickly enough to convince us the business model was sustainable in the long-term,” CEO Rupert Murdoch said in a press release.
