Is this the next ‘iPhone killer’?

In just a few days, a number of Android smartphone makers will unveil their best new devices, including various flagship handsets designed to compete directly with Apple’s latest iPhone. The Galaxy S8 will not be one of them, as Samsung had to postpone the phone’s launch to the end of March following the Galaxy Note 7 recall.

The Galaxy S8’s absence might not be felt, however, as LG is about to launch a brand new flagship that looks nothing like its predecessor. But the LG G6 might not necessarily be the next Android flagship looking to compete against the iPhone 7, as Huawei plans to unveil a brand new Android handset of its own. And a new leak shows us exactly what the Huawei P10 will look like.

Don't Miss: Behold: This all-screen iPhone 8 with a Touch Bar looks like a game-changer

Obtained by Evan Blass, who has posted a variety of MWC-related leaks on his Twitter account, the following image looks like the press render of the upcoming Huawei phone.

The P10 is a slim device that looks like the iPhone from a distance. It’s got a metal back, antenna lines, curved corners, and round edges. It’s pretty much what most smartphones look like these days.

But the Huawei P10 might have some neat tricks up its sleeve, including a dual camera setup on the back complete with Leica technology. The phone also seems to retain the 3.5mm headphone jack, which appears to be present on the bottom.

Earlier reports suggested the new Huawei phone will come in two versions, including a regular P10 and a P10 Plus version. The phone is also expected to feature up to 6GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of storage, but nothing is confirmed just yet. Luckily, Huawei’s event is just a few days away, at which point we’ll know more about it next Android-based iPhone rival.
