NorthStar/RXR New York Metro Income, Inc. Announces Submission of Draft Registration Statement for $2.0 Billion Initial Public Offering

NEW YORK, March 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- NorthStar/RXR New York Metro Income, Inc. (the "Company") announced today that it confidentially submitted a draft registration statement on Form S-11 to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC") relating to its proposed $2.0 billion initial public offering of common stock. The Company, which will be structured as a public, non-traded corporation, intends to qualify as a real estate investment trust and is co-sponsored by NorthStar Asset Management Group Inc., a newly formed Delaware corporation organized as the successor to NorthStar Realty Finance Corp.'s (NRF) asset management business, and by RXR Realty LLC. The Company plans to use the net proceeds from its initial public offering to make commercial real estate investments located in the New York City metropolitan area. The initial public offering is expected to commence after the SEC completes its review process, subject to market and other conditions.
