Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with unusual option activity on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
Market Vectors Russia Fund (RSX): Investors purchased about 10,500 March 17 puts for $0.50 and $0.55, bracing for potential downside in coming weeks. RSX fell 2.98 percent to $17.40.
Sanchez Energy (:SN): Some 2,100 March 14 calls were sold for $0.30 as traders unwound long positions. SN rose 0.85 percent to $13.12.
21Vianet (VNET): More than 6,600 January 15 puts were bought, mostly for $2.45, as traders sought protection in the stock price. VNET rose 2.48 percent to $16.50.
