Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide's thought leaders to share their professional insights at Medical Advertising Hall of Fame's Young Executives Night Out

PARSIPPANY, NJ--(Marketwired - Oct 25, 2016) - Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide (www.ogilvychww.com), the health behavior change specialists of Ogilvy & Mather (www.ogilvy.com), and a WPP company (NASDAQ: WPPGY) (www.wpp.com), today announced announced three of the organization's senior executives, Brian Doherty, Peter Rooney, and Scott Watson, have been invited to lead seminars at the Young Executives Night Out, an educational event held by the Medical Advertising Hall of Fame (MAHF), on October 27 at Convene convention center in New York City.

MAHF was founded in 1996 to honor men and women who have made significant contributions to the medical advertising profession. It also serves to document the history of the industry and attract next-generation talent. Now in its fifth year, the Young Executives Night Out event invites professionals who have been in the healthcare communications business for two to four years to attend educational sessions that are small, with about 30 people per room, allowing for intimate, college-like exchanges.

For the third year in a row, Mr. Rooney, general manager of Ogilvy CommonHealth NANO Marketing, will lead a session titled "Client Problem Solving." This year, Brian Doherty, EVP, managing director at Wellbeing@Ogilvy CommonHealth, joins Mr. Rooney as a co-presenter. In the assembly, Mr. Rooney and Mr. Doherty will address working with clients, particularly highlighting how to handle client relationships that are especially challenging. Common issues to be highlighted include challenges like "impossible" project requests and how to deal with client requests that fall outside the scope of a job. They will field questions and problems from the audience and teach participants ways in which they might tackle these everyday challenges.

Mr. Watson, global chief creative officer of Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide, will make his fifth appearance on the MAHF program schedule. Mr. Watson, along with Stephanie Berman, creative partner at The Bloc, will present "Award-Winning Creativity," a program that will deconstruct some of the top creative work in the industry, highlighting for attendees the elements that comprise standout creativity. The session will dissect each aspect of what comprises a great advertisement.

The event will also include seminars on strategic decision making and understanding how to not only present the work but to how to sell it.
