One Little Tweet From Justin Bieber Boosted This New Startup To The Top Of The App Store

Last week, a mobile app Stamped relaunched. It had a slew of big-name investors behind it, including Justin Bieber, Ryan Seacrest and Ellen DeGeneres.

Stamped is an app that lets users bookmark their 100 favorite things across categories like books, music and movies and share them with others.

Yesterday, Stamped jumped into the App Store's top 100 apps and became a top 10 app in the social networking category.

What happened?

Justin Bieber tweeted.

this just happened! CHUCK NORRIS is #STAMPED . lol - stamped.com/justinbieber/s…

"It definitely boosted us up the app store," CEO Robby Stein tells us of the tweet. "Chuck Norris rocketed us up the top charts." Stein says it's not the first time Bieber has tweeted about Stamped, but it's the first message that has had a big effect on his app's downloads.
