OPIC and World Trade Center Utah to Hold Seminar for Utah Small Businesses

Opportunity to Access Support for Expansion into Emerging Markets

Utah small businesses will have an opportunity to learn how to gain access to lucrative emerging markets overseas with the support of the U.S. Government’s development finance institution, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), when OPIC and World Trade Center Utah host a seminar in Salt Lake City on July 10 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The seminar, part of OPIC’s Expanding Horizons outreach program, will outline for participants the innovative financial tools – among them financing and political risk insurance – that OPIC has used for over 40 years to help U.S. businesses successfully invest in emerging markets. In addition, the seminar will feature detailed guidance on applying for OPIC support.

The OPIC-WTC Utah seminar will be held Wednesday, July 10, at the Salt Lake Chamber, 175 East 400 South, Suite 600, Salt Lake City, Utah. Companies interested in attending should register online here.
