NEPEAN, ON--(Marketwire -01/08/12)- Dr. Kahlid Mankal of Barrhaven Family Chiropractic Centre in Nepean, ON is president and founder of the first annual Barrhaven Health & Wellness Expo which will be held from 9am-4pm on Saturday, January 21, at the Walter Baker Centre, 100 Malvern Drive. The expo's theme is "Be Fit, Eat Right, Think Well and Go Green," and it promises a wide variety of information to help attendees make better lifestyle choices that will improve their overall physical, mental and bio-chemical health. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about organic food, vitamins, fitness, stress management, weight loss and nutrition from vendors and live demonstrations.
Building on the healthy living philosophy, the expo will also focus on such green topics as saving energy, recycling, decreasing our carbon footprint, and safe drinking water. The Ottawa chiropractor said it will be the only event of its kind in the southwestern Ottawa region.
