Oct 11 (Reuters) - Standard & Poor's Ratings Services onFriday affirmed its double-B/single-B foreign currency sovereigncredit ratings on the Republic of Guatemala.
The outlook on the ratings remains stable.
The country's "weak institutions and polarized politicalenvironment, which inhibit reforms that might boost growthprospects and raise GDP per capita from a fairly low US$3,500,constrain the ratings," S&P said.
