Both companies are aiming to create a fully responsive website that is accessible on any device and enhances the browsers experience.
Over the years, Lamar Advertising had grown in more than 200 locations across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. This leading out-of-home advertising company provides clients with outdoor advertising solutions in the form of billboards, digital, transit and highway logo signs. However, its website failed to truly reflect its growth and diversification achieved over the years. Thus, the partnership was formed to create a more interactive web presence.
Perficient provides business-driven technology solutions and support services across a wide range of practice areas. LAMR and Perficient have worked together on a website redesign project, which involved the selection of a web content management system that would accommodate a corporate website as well as office-specific content management for its numerous locations.
Separately, Lamar selected Sitecore CMS as its content management system (CMS). The CMS is based on Microsoft Corporation’s (MSFT) .NET platform. The CMS platform helped LAMR to reach out to wider consumers both on a local and national level.
Headquartered in Baton Rouge, La., Lamar Advertising is one of the largest owners and operators of outdoor advertising structures in the U.S. Given the company’s large and budding national presence, the company has immense growth potential and the website is likely to play a key role to showcase all these endeavors.
