Pfizer to pay $4M award in Prempro case, punitive fine to be set, Bloomberg says

Jurors in Connecticut ruled that Pfizer (PFE) must pay at least $4M to a woman who developed breast cancer after taking the company’s Prempro menopause drug and that the company should pay punitive damages as well, reported Bloomberg. A federal judge will decide later the amount of the punitive damages, the story noted.
