Party Invite and Communications Tool Places Children's Photos, Names and Party Information in Video With Arthur

TORONTO--(Marketwired - Aug 15, 2013) - ARTHUR, television's longest-running children's animated series, is making its latest adventure personal by inserting fans into its world with customized party invites, thank you notes, and party photo compilations that feature short animated video clips from Percy3D's PercyVites site.

Percy3D, a video personalization platform that encourages people to create their own personalized video moments using the latest 3D visual effects and multimedia technologies, announced it has acquired digital party product rights to the ARTHUR brand in a licensing deal with producers, WGBH Boston and Marc Brown. The arrangement will allow Percy3D to develop a digital party product line around the ARTHUR franchise by taking various clips of the animated series and combining them seamlessly with a child's celebration details and photos to create digital party invites for the next generation of tech-savvy kids.

The television series ARTHUR, whose protagonist is an eight-year-old aardvark, is aimed at viewers between four and eight-years-old. The cartoon encourages an inquisitive audience to actively participate in their surroundings and features stories that kids can relate to. With these new products, Percy3D provides an immersive digital experience where viewers can see themselves "interacting" with Arthur's world.

Available to consumers on a redesigned PercyVites site that launched in May, ARTHUR joins a cast of characters such as Caillou and Johnny Test, whose video clip templates can be transformed into personal party invites, thank you notes, and party memory compilations. Additional ARTHUR invitation and thank you clip templates will also be available to choose from within the month. ARTHUR digital party products range in price from $0.79 to $2.99 each.
