CHARLOTTE, NC--(Marketwired - May 29, 2013) - Premier Alliance Group, Inc. (
The California Solar Initiative (CSI) offers financial incentives for the installation of solar PV and thermal systems throughout the state. In many cases those incentives are critical for the system to be financially viable. However, for solar PV systems over 10 kW these lucrative incentives are performance based and therefore the CSI requires real time monitoring be provided by a certified PMRS provider. Receiving this certification means Premier Alliance meets the specific requirements for monitoring and delivering system performance data to the CSI program administrator, which is then used to calculate the value of the incentive earned by the system. Premier Alliance will not only be able to offer this value add service to its existing and future solar customers, but to any other solar PV system owner throughout the state of California.
"This is yet another facet to our growing service offerings that allows us to provide a true turnkey solution," said Rob Davis, Senior Vice President of Energy Services for Premier Alliance. "We no longer need to rely on a third party to insure Performance Based Incentives (PBI) are accurately reflecting the energy production of solar PV systems we've installed for our clients. Given the fact that we are now one of only about 140 certified PMRS providers throughout the entire state of California we can further differentiate ourselves in the alternative energy marketplace."
