Prices boost Huntsman profit

The chemical maker posted a 49% jump in Q3 EPS to 70 cents, trouncing estimates for 51 cents after it raised prices on polyurethane used in foam insulation. Revenue fell 8% to $2.74 bil, missing Wall Street's target of $2.9 bil. Over the past two quarters, the company's polyurethane business has helped offset weak sales in its paint pigment division. Huntsman's (HUN) shares rose 4.3% to 16.19.
