Inspired by their everyday journey and the tremendous support of their mothers along the way, Procter & Gamble today joined forces with Hockey Canada in a four-year national partnership. Under the agreement, P&G will support the advancement of hockey in Canada from grassroots to high performance programming including sponsorship of such events as the National Women’s Under-18 Championship, World Sledge Hockey Challenge, World Junior A Challenge, World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, TELUS Cup – Canada’s National Midget Championship, Esso Cup – Canada’s National Female Midget Championship and RBC Cup – Canada’s National Junior A Championship.

As the “Proud Sponsor of Hockey Moms,” P&G, the maker of brands such as Bounty, Tide and Gillette will provide Team Canada with funding and high performance products that match the strength and grit needed to face the world’s toughest competition on the ice.

- Meghan Agosta-Marciano, a two time Olympic gold medallist and the MVP of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games;
- Tessa Bonhomme, a renowned defenceman who, along with Meghan, is competing for a spot on Team Canada as they vie for a fourth consecutive Olympic gold medal;
- John Tavares, considered one of the best players in Canada and a Team Canada hopeful, looking for his first experience at The Winter Olympics;
- Greg Westlake, captain of Canada’s National Sledge Team and a Torino 2006 Paralympic Winter Games gold medallist who hopes to lead Canada back to the top of the podium in Sochi.
