(Prominex) (PXR.V - News) is pleased to announce that Buchans Minerals Corporation (Buchans) (BMC.V - News) has provided Prominex with formal notice of their election to participate in the 2011 exploration program on a pro-rata basis to maintain its interest at 49%. The semi-annual report of activities to Buchans dated December 31, 2011, reflected a total expenditures of $329,979.49. Prominex holds an undivided 51% interest in the Tulks Hill joint venture and is the operator.
