Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, part of the HSF Affiliates LLC real estate brokerage family, today announced that Prudential Executive Group Real Estate has joined the network and is operating as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Executive Group Real Estate.

The brokerage is the first in Indiana to affiliate with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, a brand that now counts more than 29,000 agents and 825 offices in 39 states since its launch in September 2013.

“This is not just a name change, it’s an opportunity of a lifetime,” said Broker/Owner Larry Hitz. “It’s not often you’re invited to be part of a brand inspired by Berkshire Hathaway, one of the world’s most respected corporations. We are more than ready for the opportunity and responsibility to represent Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices.”

Hitz said the brand will resonate well in Valparaiso and throughout northwest Indiana and the southwest suburbs of Chicago. “The brand reflects Berkshire Hathaway’s values of trust, integrity, stability and longevity, and is a fresh alternative for real estate consumers. We strongly believe people will look for our Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices yard signs as symbols of sound guidance and quality customer care.”

With the transition, Executive Group Real Estate agents gain access to the Global Network Platform, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices’ powerful suite of real estate tools and resources plus ongoing business consultation, professional education, national marketing support and the Luxury Collection program for high-end listings. “Our skilled agents have everything they need to provide clients with premium customer service.”

Hitz and his team commemorated their transition yesterday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception at their corporate office. Executive Group Real Estate’s new Cabernet and Cream yard signs will begin appearing throughout greater Valparaiso today.

Stephen Phillips, president of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, welcomed the brokerage. “Larry and the company are the heartbeat of real estate in Valparaiso and surrounding areas,” Phillips said. “We’re proud they’re a part of our network.”
