CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

The Plan Sponsor Council of America (PSCA) announced the winners of the 2013 Signature Awards during a special presentation at its 66th Annual National Conference at The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale, AZ.

“The PSCA Signature Awards recognize the best examples of creative and effective plan sponsor and participant communication and education,” said Robert Benish, PSCA’s Executive Director. “Plan sponsors and providers work closely together to create innovative solutions that produce results and are helping millions of Americans be bettered prepared for their future.

This year, Signature Awards judges recognized 44 winners in 12 categories. A distinguished judging panel of business leaders and communication experts chose the winners by evaluating how companies write, design, manage, and deliver defined contribution communication and investment education to plan participants and plan sponsors. Signature Awards judges carefully review the metrics to analyze how effective the campaign was at achieving set goals.

“These companies are producing communications programs that combine new media and traditional approaches to engage, motivate and educate diverse employee populations. They are getting more people enrolled in the plans and showing them how to save more for their retirement. Both plan sponsors and providers are stepping up to the plate and making an impact in improving financial literacy and financial wellness. Their efforts are helping millions of Americans better prepare for a stronger, better retirement,” Benish said.

The winners of the 2013 Signature Awards were celebrated at an evening reception for conference attendees and at a private dessert reception. The winners also are featured in the 2013 Signature Awards Magazine, an annual publication that describes the details of the winning entries and their successful results. The Signature Awards Magazine is used by industry experts to increase the quality of defined contribution education and communication at hundreds of other plan sponsor companies.
