DENVER (AP) -- Sandwich chain Quiznos said it has named Stuart K. Mathis as its new president and CEO, effective July 30.
The company also said Wednesday it has named Susan Lintonsmith as its new chief marketing officer. She is a former chief marketing officer of Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and a former consultant for Einstein Noah Restaurant Group Inc.
Mathis' previous positions include serving as president of The UPS Store network and as executive vice president of franchise operations at Domino's Pizza. The franchise experience should come in handy at Quiznos.
Mathis succeeds Greg MacDonald, who was named CEO in 2010. Quiznos says MacDonald has stepped down as president and CEO, effective immediately.
