PHOENIX (AP) -- Waste management company Republic Services has named Glenn A. Culpepper as executive vice president and chief financial officer.
Culpepper succeeds 64-year-old Tod C. Holmes, who previously announced that he planned to retire in 2013.
Culpepper's appointment is effective on Jan. 9.
The 56-year-old Culpepper previously served as CFO at Summit Materials. Prior to that he spent 21 years at CRH PLC, a construction materials company in Dublin. While at CRH Culpepper held various posts, including principal financial officer.
Republic Services Inc.'s stock added 31 cents to $29.59 in Tuesday afternoon trading.
