NEW YORK (AP) -- Cosmetics company Revlon Inc. said Wednesday that Steven Berns, its executive vice president and chief financial officer, resigned to become chief financial officer at Tribune Co.

Jessica Graziano, Revlon's senior vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer, will serve as interim principal financial officer until a replacement is named, the company said in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

Revlon said that Berns' departure is not the result of any issue or concern with Revlon's accounting, financial reporting or internal controls. Berns was named as CFO in 2009.

Revlon shares fell 23 cents to $19.90 in morning trading. The stock has changed hands between $12.60 and $23.59 in the past 52 weeks.
