VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Mar 28, 2014) - Rio Alto Mining Limited ("Rio Alto") (TSX:RIO)(NYSE:RIOM)(RIO.TO)(MS2.F) announces that for 2013 net income amounted to $30.8 million or $0.17 per share and that cash flow from operating activities was $77.4 million. For the fourth quarter of 2013 net income amounted to $10.0 million or $0.06 per share and cash flow from operating activities was $16.6 million.
Rio Alto is also increasing its 2014 gold production guidance from a range of 190,000 to 210,000 ounces to a range of 200,000 to 220,000 ounces.
