Rite Aid (RAD) said Q2 EPS was a 5-cent loss vs. an 11-cent loss in '11, beating views of a 7-cent loss. Sales fell less than 1% to $6.23 bil, above views. Same-store sales were flat, with a 1% drop in pharmacy sales. The pharmacy chain now sees '13 EPS loss of 9-23 cents. Analysts see a 15-cent loss. Shares fell 3.1%.
