WAN product maker Riverbed Technology (RVBD) is climbing after William Blair analyst Jason Ader upgraded his rating the stock to Outperform from Market Perform in a note to investors earlier today. Riverbed's transition from a single product company to a multi-product maker is ending, and the company's product diversification should give it a boost, the analyst wrote. Moreover, Ader's chanel checks indicate that the company's federal sales have been strong, while its Granite products for data centers should prove to be a tailwind for the company, the analyst explained. In early trading, Riverbed rose 65c, or 2.87%, to $23.32.
