Rockwell Automation (ROK) said demand for its products weakened in the final months of fiscal '12, which ended Sept. 30, as customers delayed purchases of its products. The company set a fiscal '13 profit target of $5.35-$5.75, the midpoint a share, topping forecasts. Shares rose 3.3% to 78.02.
