The complaint alleges that Defendants concealed Great Lakes' true financial condition in its public statements to investors. Namely, the complaint asserts that Great Lakes overstated revenue, earnings and cash flow in its financial statements filed with the SEC. On March 14, 2013, Great Lakes announced that its financial statements for the second and third quarter of 2012 had to be restated due to the recognition of certain pending change orders where client acceptance was not finalized as revenue. It also announced the departure of its Chief Operating Officer and President, who was also the former Chief Financial Officer until August 20, 2012. This adverse information caused Great Lakes stock to fall approximately 18%, closing at $7.35 per share the following day.
