Santarus announced the inclusion of Cycloset (bromocriptine mesylate) as a therapy for patients with type 2 diabetes in a new comprehensive diabetes management algorithm published by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. The AACE created the algorithm to guide primary care physicians, endocrinologists and other health care professionals in the treatment of prediabetes and type 2 diabetes patients.
