Scarlett Johansson has never been one to shy away from a sartorial challenge, and she most certainly isn’t backing down now. Nope, Ms. Johansson took on two *very* tricky trends simultaneously at the Ghost in a Shell premiere in Paris: a geometric chevron print and feathers…. *lots* of feathers. But being an A-lister with oodles of red carpet experience under her belt, the veteran actress didn’t break a sweat. Instead, she pulled off a look so daring and edgy that it sent our jaws dropping to the floor. Whew!

For starters, a closer look at this sharply chic ensemble will reveal that it’s actually a skirt layered over a long-sleeve shirt, not just one dress. Both top and bottom hail from Azzedine Alaia’s fall 2016 runway.

Delivering a high-octane rocker feel to the blue carpet, Scarlett’s chevron black-and-white top is basically the stuff of an edgy girl’s dreams. The collared knit top skillfully offset the chevron patterned portions, creating a sort of negative space effect that cinched in Johansson’s teeny waist.

Now, that feathered skirt is just on another level of cool. It’s fluffy, it’s sassy, and it’s definitely the next totally-impractical fashion buy we ~need~ to get our hands on immediately.

And those grommet-embellished black booties? They’re to die for!

While we were completely mesmerized by her punkish-glam outfit, we nearly missed the 32-year-old’s super-sleek makeup. With dusty rose lips, perfectly arched brows, glowing cheeks, and sparkly eyeshadow, Scarlett looked every inch the glam gal she is.

But would you really expect anything less than stunning from the Black Widow? Nope!
