The addition of Brenda to PR Associates comes as the communications and public relations agency expands with a focus on helping resource companies strengthen their corporate citizenship.
Brenda comes to PR Associates after a successful 20-year career as a journalist for several of Canada's most prominent national print and broadcast newsrooms. Most recently, Brenda was the mining reporter at The Globe and Mail, and led the reporting team that won the 2010 National Newspaper Award for business reporting. Brenda has also held the position of executive producer at BNN (formerly Report On Business Television) and worked as a business reporter at The Canadian Press and The Financial Post. Brenda has also authored and ghostwritten a handful of business books on topics ranging from real estate to management and leadership. She has a passion for writing and storytelling and believes communications should always be smart, simple and focused, while still appealing to a wide audience.
