ServisFirst posts 4Q profit

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) _ ServisFirst Bancshares Inc. (SFBS) on Monday reported fourth-quarter profit of $21.7 million.

The Birmingham, Alabama-based company said it had net income of 40 cents per share.

The holding company for ServisFirst Bank posted revenue of $62.2 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $55.1 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $81.5 million, or $1.52 per share. Revenue was reported as $205.2 million.

ServisFirst shares have climbed nearly 2 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $38.06, an increase of 94 percent in the last 12 months.
