Shaw Reports Recovery Progress and Apologizes for Impact of Explosion on Customers and the Public

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - July 17, 2012) - Shaw Communications (SJR-B.TO)(SJR) continues to work with its customers and tenants to fully restore services following last week's explosion and fire at Shaw Court.

As a result of significant damage from the building's fire suppression systems, 900 Shaw Court employees will be temporarily relocated throughout the city at Shaw's seven other building locations. Employees will be relocated for several months during restoration efforts to allow for business continuity.
