Sherwin-Williams raises dividend to 50 cents

Sherwin-Williams raises quarterly dividend 28 percent, to 50 cents from 39 cents

CLEVELAND (AP) -- Paint company Sherwin-Williams Co. said Tuesday that it is raising its quarterly dividend 28 percent, to 50 cents.

The old payment was 39 cents.

Sherwin-Williams said it has been increasing its dividend for 34 straight years.

The Cleveland company's next dividend is payable March 8 to shareholders of record on Feb. 25.
