BETHESDA, MARYLAND--(Marketwired - Apr 10, 2014) - Snipp Interactive Inc., an international provider of mobile marketing solutions listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX VENTURE:SPN) announced today that it has appointed Mr. Michael Dillon onto its board of directors. Mr. Dillon will replace Anthony Durkacz who has resigned due to other company obligations effective immediately.
Mr. Dillon is a seasoned shopper marketing professional with almost twenty years of experience in shopper marketing and retail-related promotion. He is currently Executive Director of Brand Activations & Shopper Marketing at Colangelo and was recently featured in Shopper Marketing's "Who's Who in Shopper Marketing Agencies". Prior to Colangelo, Mr. Dillon was Vice President of Shopper Marketing at Catalina Marketing. Mr. Dillon was also at Pepsi for many years, eventually leaving as Vice President, Brand Activation, Marketing. Mr. Dillon hold a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia and an MBA from the University of Rochester's William E. Simon School of Business.
Snipp also announces a grant of 200,000 stock options awarded to its newly appointed director. The options are fully vested and are exercisable at any time at a price of $0.105 per common share and expire after 5 years.
