Solarbuzz: New solar PV CapEx cycle expected to start in 2015, DigiTimes says

The CapEx cycle for equipment suppliers in the solar photovoltaic manufacturing segment are expected to enter a new cycle beginning in 2015, reports DigiTimes, citing Solarbuzz. PV equipment spending could potentially reach $10B in revenues in 2017 as end-market solar PV demand will catch up with the 45GW of effective capacity within the next half year. Publicly traded companies in the space include Canadian Solar (CSIQ), First Solar (FSLR), JA Solar (JASO), SunPower (SPWR), Trina Solar (TSL) and Yingli Green Energy (YGE).
