CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- Sonic Automotive Inc. says that David Cosper, its vice chairman and chief financial officer, plans to retire sometime during the first quarter of 2013.
Cosper joined the Charlotte, N.C.-based automotive retailer in 2006. The company said late Monday that it's starting a formal search for his replacement.
Sonic shares slipped a penny to $19.11 in midday trading Tuesday. They set a 52-week high of $19.34 on Monday.
