Sony (SNE) has "backtracked somewhat" on its assertion that users will be able to play second-hand games on its latest PlayStation, CNET reports. Sony said in a statement to the website, "Similar to PS3, we will not dictate the online used game strategy (the ability to play used games online) of our publishing partners." GameStop (GME) shares have been volatile amid questions of the users' ability to play used games on PlayStation 4 and Microsoft's (MSFT) Xbox One.
