Stain-Removing Secrets: Deodorant Stains

We’ve all been there: running late and suddenly catching an unsightly deodorant stain on the way out the door. Don’t despair. These stain-removing secrets will get that out in a jiffy.

The easiest fix is to rub foam rubber along the stain, and voila! It comes right out. Find foam rubber on that dry cleaner’s hanger in your closet.

Just threw out those hangers from the dry cleaner? No worries. Rubbing a pair of panty hose or knee-high stockings will do the trick, too.

Another quick fix: Take an inside piece of the same fabric and rub it against the stain. It usually does the trick.

If you have time to for a wash, dissolve half a cup of salt in warm water. Apply the solution to the stain using a clean sponge or cloth, stroking with the grain of the fabric until the residue’s gone.
