Stanley Black & Decker: N. America, Emerging markets returning to healthy state

theflyonthewall.com

The company says North America and Emerging Markets will continue to make progress in Q4 and beyond. In Europe, the company sees a situation where organic growth is still elusive and negative, which in turn is slowing the sequential rate improvement. Stanley Black & Decker sees a slight temporary deceleration in Emerging Markets associated with some of the macroeconomic environment pressure, but are not issues that will carry over into 2014. The long-term objective of 4%-6% organic growth is achievable in 2014, as well as EPS YoY growth of &%-9% associated with that. Comments taken from Q3 earnings conference call.
