SunEdison (SUNE) Stock is Soaring Today

Vivint Solar VSLR announced that it has terminated its agreement to be acquired by SunEdison SUNE. The solar company stated that SUNE didn’t fulfill pre-specified requirements for the merger to take place. After volatile trading for SunEdison, investors are breathing a sigh of relief, sending SUNE shares 10% higher today.

Why Are Natural Gas Stocks Plummeting Today?

The natural gas industry is taking a hit in morning trading Tuesday as investors react to yesterday’s weekly inventory release and the early onset of spring. The U.S. Energy Department’s weekly report actually showed a larger-than-expected decrease in natural gas inventory. Nevertheless, supplies are still 36% above the five-year average and 46% higher than at this time last year.
