DIXON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Superior Farms Pet Provisions (SFPP) employees are proud that all of their dogs have been rescued and/or adopted through local shelters. Passionate about giving back to this cause, the company has announced its Doggie Donation program is up and running. Shelters and rescue organizations from across the nation can sign up for the program and will be given a unique code. Any online SFPP shopper using that code will automatically have 10% of their purchase donated back to the shelter.
“Our company is made up of dog lovers,” said CEO Gary Pfeiffer, who is the proud pet parent of Roger, a cattle dog, and Ellie, a Border Staffy mix. “Every one of us has rescue dogs that are part of our families and that’s part of the reason we got into this business. We love our pups, we believe in the rescue efforts and we want to give something back to the community and to the organizations that do so much.”
To participate, a rescue organization only needs to e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. From there, a staff member will set the organization up with a unique code to be used at online checkout. Superior Farms Pet Provisions also sends out a display and handouts with their code and provides social media and direct marketing support.
“We wanted to make this simple and easy for the different organizations to raise funds. They merely need to direct supporters to our website,” said Pfeiffer. “Time and money are in short supply for these hard working groups– we wanted to make it as simple and straight forward as possible.”
SFPP will be exhibiting this week at SuperZoo in Las Vegas at booth 8105. In addition to announcing the Doggie Donation program, they will debut some new Made-in-the-USA beef products as well as some exciting new items from their New Zealand partners.
