The tech giant could sell 53 mil iPhone 5 smartphones in Q4, a Jefferies analyst calculated based on preliminary Oct.-Nov. smartphone figures from AT&T (NYSE:T). The telecom said it sold 6.4 mil smartphones in the two months, but Jefferies thinks it was being conservative and will sell about 10 mil in Q4. The analyst estimates that the cellular carrier will sell about 15% of Apple's (AAPL) phones this quarter.
