Ten WisdomTree ETFs Top $1B in Assets Under Management

WisdomTree Investments (WETF), the fifth-largest U.S. issuer of exchange traded funds, said today that it now has 10 ETFs with at least $1 billion in assets under management.

The WisdomTree India Earnings Fund (EPI) , the largest India ETF, is the newest member of WisdomTree’s $1 billion club. India ETFs are trading lower Monday, but funds such as EPI benefited leading up to and following the country’s recent national election. With almost $10.5 billion in assets under management, the WisdomTree Japan Hedged Equity Fund (DXJ) is New Yokr-based WisdomTree’s largest ETF.

Including EPI, three WisdomTree emerging markets ETFs combine for $6.9 billion in assets under management. The other two ETFs are the WisdomTree Emerging Markets Equity Income Fund (DEM) and the WisdomTree Emerging Markets SmallCap Dividend Fund (DGS) .

“Our ten largest ETFs tell an important story: when you look at our breakdown of AUM by region, we are building a strong and increasingly balanced business,” said WisdomTree CEO and President Jonathan Steinberg in a statement.

WisdomTree is also one of the largest issuer of U.S.-focused dividend ETFs with eight such products. Four – the WisdomTree LargeCap Dividend Fund (DLN) , WisdomTree MidCap Dividend Fund (DON) , WisdomTree SmallCap Dividend Fund (DES) and the WisdomTree Dividend ex-Financials Fund (DTN) – combine for $4.9 billion in assets, according to the statement.

WisdomTree’s AUM total has also benefited from resurgent European equities as the WisdomTree Europe SmallCap Dividend Fund (DFE) and the WisdomTree Europe Hedged Equity Fund (HEDJ) combine for $2.9 billion in assets. Other WisdomTree ETFs that could be the next to enter the $1 billion club include the $850 million actively managed WisdomTree Emerging Markets Local Debt Fund (ELD) and the $846.4 million WisdomTree Equity Income Fund (DHS) .

Overall, the firm has almost $34 billion in AUM across nearly 70 ETFs. The company is the only publicly traded pure play ETF sponsor. Shares of WisdomTree are up nearly 1% today on more than double the average daily volume.
