Texas Health Resources Selects Medicity to Provide Health Information Exchange Technology

Medicity Solutions Will Enable One of the Top U.S. Health Systems to Securely Exchange Patient Information and Coordinate Care

SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwire -08/13/12)- Medicity announced today that Texas Health Resources has selected Medicity health information exchange (HIE) solutions to power the exchange of patient information among its facilities and physicians. By using Medicity solutions, physicians can securely access patients' available health information. Physicians can also more easily share information with each other that can help improve patient care.

Texas Health has 25 inpatient, transitional, rehabilitation and short-stay hospitals, 18 outpatient facilities and more than 5,500 affiliated physicians. Texas Health will use the following Medicity solutions:
