DALLAS (AP) -- Texas Instruments Inc. on Thursday increased its quarterly dividend by 7 percent, its second dividend boost this year.
The chipmaker said it will pay the dividend of 30 cents — up from 28 cents — on Nov. 18 to shareholders of record Oct. 31.
In the spring, Texas Instruments raised its dividend to 28 cents from 21 cents.
Shares of the Dallas company closed down 5 cents at $40.80, then slipped 2 cents in after-hours trading.
