TFTP Server Clients and Other No-Cost Servers are Now Available on Network Management Hub

The In-Depth and Helpful List Includes the Solarwinds TFTP Server, and Whatsup Gold, Among Others

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / February 8, 2016 / Network Management Hub, a website that is devoted to reviewing network management software, has just compiled a list of the best free TFTP servers for Windows. For people who are looking for a free TFTP server download from NetworkManagementHub.com, the newly-released list includes plenty of options.

As a company spokesperson explained, TFTP stands for Trivial File Transfer Protocol. The system is typically used for smaller files, and the number of files that can be transferred will vary. Because each server package has its plusses and minuses, Network Management Hub was inspired to create and publish the list of the best complimentary TFTP servers.

A top free TFTP server client for Windows, notes the newly posted article, is the Solarwinds TFTP server. The no-cost download is designed to complement the network products that are already available to the public.

For example, the Solarwinds TFTP server can be used as a single Windows service capable of transferring 4 GB of files at one time. The flexible program is also able to operate with different users, which means that three people can use the same program at once.

"Security is relatively easy," the new review noted, adding that in some cases, the security with the Solarwinds TFTP server is not as present as with some of the others.

"The main lines of security you will get this option is with the IP addressing in the mainframe. You can block certain IP addresses. You can only allow certain IP addresses through at one time. This cuts down on others trying to get to things they are not supposed to."

The new review also takes a look at the Whatsup Gold TFTP server. Similar in some ways to the Solarwinds TFTP server, it can send larger files of 4 GB and larger. Users can decide to be bound by one IP address or by choosing others.

Other servers that are reviewed in the new article are the TFTPD32 from Philippe Jounin and the Windows built-in option. Anybody who would like to learn more about the best no-cost TFTP servers may visit the Network Management Hub website at any time; there, they can read the in-depth review in its entirety.
