The perfect cocktail to pair with McDonald's all-day breakfast

Happy Friday, traders! This week McDonald's introduced a limited all-day breakfast menu at most of it's 14,000 U.S. Locations.

This presents a new predicament-- In the morning an egg McMuffin pairs well with an orange juice or maybe a cup of coffee but what do you drink with your evening McBreakfast? We've got you covered with this week's Yahoo Finance cocktail.

It's an all-American spin on Irish coffee we're calling the “All-Day Coffee.”

Instead of using the traditional Irish whiskey, we're using good old American Bourbon. And here's a nice bonus: you can drink this to help you stay up and watch the playoffs...Because what's more All-American than baseball? (Go Mets!-Ed)

Here's how to mix this one up:

Pour about an ounce and a half of your favorite Kentucky bourbon into a coffee mug. We used Jim beam because it's cheap and some people (our producer) think it’s underrated.

Add some cream-- you can substitute with a creamy liquor like Baileys if you'd really like to get the party started.

Feel free to add sugar if that’s how you take your coffee.

Pour in your coffee and give it a good stir.

Top with whipped cream for extra deliciousness and pair with an egg McMuffin for the perfect late-night baseball snack.

Here’s a bit of trivia for you: the original Irish coffee was created by Joe Sheridan at the Shannon International Aiport in Foynes, Ireland. San Francisco Chronicle writer Stanton Delaplane tried it and brought the recipe back to the U.S. where it quickly caught on.

Have a great weekend, cocktail lovers!
