The supernatural thriller "Mama" won the weekend's box office, as film star Jessica Chastain moved to the top of Hollywood's top two highest-grossing films, reports the Wall Street Journal. Comcast's (CMCSA) "Mama" from Universal Pictures earned $33M in its first weekend in theaters, including the Monday holiday, drawing a heavily female audience. Ms. Chastain is nominated for an Oscar for her role in "Zero Dark Thirty" which took the number two spot, grossing $18.7M over the long weekend. It's distributed by Sony's Sony Pictures (SNE).
