TIBCO Software announced that its enterprise social platform, tibbr®, has been selected by leading Australian electricity network operator Ausgrid to enhance collaboration across its entire organization. With one of the largest electricity networks in Australia to maintain and enhance, Ausgrid chose tibbr to help individuals and groups within the company communicate more effectively with one another. Out-of-the-box integration with business applications already in use at Ausgrid such as Microsoft SharePoint and cutting edge hybrid HTML5/native mobile applications were some of the key reasons why the platform was chosen. tibbr will integrate with Ausgrid's SharePoint-based intranet, serving as the platform for staff to discuss ideas, post news, share updates, connect with colleagues, ask questions and easily share links, files and other important data.
