TicketNetwork Advisory - Bruce Springsteen Tickets in High Demand

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT--(Marketwire -01/27/12)- Heartland rocker Bruce Springsteen is returning to the road this spring with a whole new set of tour dates in support of his latest album "Wrecking Ball," which will be released on March 6. The Wrecking Ball Tour will begin on March 18 in Atlanta, GA, and end on May 2 in Newark, NJ. This is Springsteen's first new tour in more than two years; the last was in 2009.

The long wait and a relatively limited selection of concerts mean that Bruce Springsteen tickets are in high demand. That, in turn, has resulted in higher prices, as fewer concerts means there is more competition for seats. The upcoming tour has only 18 dates currently scheduled compared to Springsteen's 2009 tour, which had 58, with many venues scheduling multiple shows. Consequently, the average price on the TicketNetwork Exchange* for the 2009 tour was $173, nearly 108% lower than the current average price of $361 for this year's set of shows.

If the Wrecking Ball Tour follows the pattern of his previous tours, Springsteen may announce more dates in the future, which would give more fans a chance to find seats and help lower average prices. To see any schedule changes and get more information about ticket prices, visit the Bruce Springsteen page on TicketNetwork.com.

*As of 1/26/2012 3:30 p.m. EST. Prices may fluctuate based on market demand.

I logged on yesterday at 8:58am for the 9:00am sale, and was told I was in the "queue"... 45 minutes later, the same message was on my screen. I really miss the old days of actually getting off the couch and going to the store to buy the tickets. Nowadays, it's all a money making scheme. Miraculously, the ticket brokers have no problem getting their share of the tickets.

Bruce - if you are all for the "middle class" person, then you would do something about this. I'm a huge fan, love your concerts and music, but can't afford to fork over a couple of hundred dollars per ticket to see your shows anymore. It would be nice if you had a special pre-sale just for your "Fan Club" members, although I'm sure the ticket brokers would figure out how to ruin this too.

That's not the price being charged by Ticketmaster or Springsteen. It's the average ticket exchange price.

Outrageous ticket prices and a "Service Charge" of $55.00 per ticket at Madison Square Garden. So much for your blue-collar roots, Bruce! Do us a favor, skip the political rhetoric on this tour and JUST SING!

These musicians today are capitalists. Not like the old days. Now its a big money grab to see who gets the highest yearly gross. I gave up on concerts long ago. I'll wait for the DVD.

They would still get your money if you bought the DVD.

Gawd I hate Bruce Springsteen. He sucks, just vomited a little. Uck, he can't sing, there is nothing about him that is interesting. A jock picks up a guitar and sounds like he is singing in the shower.

This is crazy, can't buy tickets through ticketmaster at all. Only places to buy them from are Ebay, Stubhub .com and http://www.rocknrolltickets.com/ResultsEvent.aspx?event=Bruce+Springsteen&pid=174 Well, hopefully something will pop up in the newspaper. Than I'll go
